Our day could not have been more beautiful and the rest of the week, so relaxing!  I was skeptical about the whole destination wedding thing, I thought it would cost a lot MORE than planning one at home.  (Thank goodness my fiance persisted.) By the time we were done we found out we paid WAY LESS than a home venue would have cost, and had more  fun planning it.

We found almost all our vendors on DestinationWeddingPlans.com and were able to get everything booked so easily.  I was so glad we  did this.  Highly recommend to anyone who loves to travel and wants a stress free vacation wedding!

We had an awesome time planning our event thanks to DestinationWeddingPlans.com, what a great resource. From talking to other brides on the forum we decided on Jamaica as there was so much to see and do both on and off our resort.

Jamaicans are all about the jazz, mon, and they sure jazzed it up for us!  Perfect weather and perfect staff made the day just go better than we expected.  I was amazed at how un-stressed i felt throughout all the plan making – it was like it was just meant to be.

I am glad we did not make the decision to do a traditional reception back home. Our family and friends LOVED the vacation and we all had a great time.

We wanted a stress-free event that would include our friends and family in the fun.  We thought it would be a great way to get them all together to enjoy our time, and it worked.  We loved the planning process from the start – all our vendors including our hotel went above and beyond to give us a beautiful ceremony and elegant beach-side reception.  Then when that was all done, we had days to relax and enjoy.  I cannot think of another way to have so little stress with wedding planning.  DestinationWeddingPlans.com made it easy for us to find all the information we needed. It has been over four months since our wedding and my husband and I are still glowing from our beautiful trip and perfect wedding. We wanted to provide a relaxing atmosphere with lots of fun for our guests. We contacted Destination Wedding Plans to help us select the perfect island for a price that would allow all of our friends and family a chance to go. We chose Cancun, Mexico, and 50 guests were able to join us. They helped to arrange everyone’s schedule, bringing 50 people down from all different places and at all different times. They helped to calm our nerves when passports were late ensuring that all the guests would arrive — and they did!

Our wedding was perfect without much planning. The wedding coordinator in Mexico took our ideas and created a beautiful day for us and our guests. The wedding was at 4pm on a gazebo covered in flowers with groom and groomsmen waiting. The bridesmaids and I were followed up the aisle by a Caribbean trio with beautiful flowers in hand and in our hair. The wind posed a problem at first for location, but became a blessing from the heat. The pictures followed the ceremony, very quick (which was nice) and turned out amazing. Just take a look. Our reception was held on a patio above the resort just as the sun began to set, with an open bar and a four course meal. We played our own music which the staff really enjoyed. We were treated like royalty with the entire staff recognizing our wedding and sending us their congratulations.

Our guests became so close and have kept in touch since the trip with new friendships and memories to follow. We learned to be patient with Mexico time but it all paid off in the end!! The trip went too fast but gave us a time we will never forget and an opportunity we may never have again to have such close friends and family in one beautiful place at one time. What a wonderful way to begin our new life!!
